Christmas in Merredin 2015

The last three weeks have been a big lead up to Christmas in Merredin and has kept us very busy.

The Christmas Crafters opened up the seasons shopping for us with a stunning array of extremely high quality hand crafted gifts. The Carols by candlelight had a great turn out, schools had their concerts and business had their Christmas parties. Then of course, the number one favourite…Gala Night. Oh What A Night! I’m so pleased they brought Gala night back.

Children of Merredin found a new friend called Rudy. He is never in one spot for very long and it was fun trying to find his hiding place each day and steal a photo for Facebook. Magical words on the visitor centre lawn, White Christmas trees at the entrance to town, Tyre Christmas trees and even snowflakes and snowmen.

Well it’s Christmas Eve in Merredin 2015 and Merredin Today would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
