Thursday 7th – Sunday 10th May
Destination Merredin festival
All welcome / various locations / Free and paid events

Although there were no battles on Wheatbelt soil, the wars of the 20th century played a formative role in shaping life in the Wheatbelt.
The Destination Merredin festival will explore this impact. There will be a “Victory Day” parade and street party, demonstrations of lost skills and crafts, a Handmade and Heritage Market, a Mother’s Day Picnic in the Park, a live performance of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, a glitzy “Corporal’s Dine and Dance” event with the WA Army Cabaret Band, and tours of the town, district and the museums.
Visit www.destinationmerredin.com for the full programme.
This event is brought to you courtesy of Sheree Lowe
